✨ PTO Attendance Challenge ✨
The Pine Ridge PTO is sponsoring the Attendance Awareness PTO Challenge the week of September 22–26, 2025.
• The class with the best attendance record during the week will win a pizza or donut party (winner’s choice)!
• If multiple classes tie for the top spot, one class will be selected at random from the list of winners.
👕 Dress-Up Days 👕
We’ll also celebrate with themed dress-up days to encourage attendance and school spirit:
• Monday 9/22: Be Present for Tomorrow’s Opportunities – Dress as your future profession!
• Tuesday 9/23: Team Up for Tomorrow – Wear your favorite sports team jersey or shirt!
• Wednesday 9/24: Wild About Attendance – Show off animal prints, crazy socks, or wacky accessories!
• Thursday 9/25: It’s a Bright Tomorrow – Wear bright colors, neon, and sunglasses!
• Friday 9/26: Ready Together, Ready for Tomorrow – Rock Pine Ridge colors or PRE spirit wear!
We can’t wait to see our students show their excitement for attendance, learning, and school pride! Thank you for helping us make every day count.

We are excited to announce that four Lake County Schools have been recognized for successfully building a schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. PBIS is an evidence-based three-tiered prevention framework designed to improve and integrate all data, systems, and practices impacting student outcomes. National research shows that full implementation of PBIS leads to reduced exclusionary discipline and improved student and teacher outcomes by enhancing school climate, acknowledging appropriate behavior, and using data to identify supports. Congratulations to the following schools for being recognized by the FLPBIS Project as a PBIS Model School: Pine Ridge Elementary, Gold; Rimes Early Learning and Literacy Center, Silver; Astatula Elementary, Silver; Mount Dora High, Bronze.
