Veda BarrESE School Specialist
I am Veda Barr, your Exceptional Student Education School Specialist (ESE SS). I am a career changer, before becoming an educator I worked in the retail field as a Human Resource Manager for 12 years. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and I graduated from Michigan State University, home of the Spartans. In 2005 my family and I relocated to Florida and this is when I decided to become an educator. I started my educational career with Lake County Schools in 2007 at Sawgrass Bay Elementary as a varying exceptionalities teacher and later moved to become the ESE SS. In 2015 I moved to the District to serve as a ESE District Staffing Specialist. After serving and learning from my amazing peers in education I decided to return to the school setting to apply my knowledge to support students. I am blessed to serve and support our children in education.
