Elective/Enrichment Teachers

As a K-8 school, our students get to experience a wide range of enrichments at the elementary level and then begin to target specific electives once they get to the middle grades.  Our enrichment/elective teachers will have a vertically aligned curriculum to move students through a progression from Kindergarten through 8th grade.  

 

Cynthia LundBand, Chorus, Exploration of Music

Mrs. Lund loves all things music – playing instruments, singing, directing, choreographing dance, musical theater, and more!  She is passionate about helping students find their voice through music performance.

When she’s not in the classroom, Mrs. Lund loves to spend time with her family, read, craft, watch movies, travel, and LOVES all things Disney.  Fun Facts: She has walked on the Great Wall of China, climbed to the top of Notre Dame Cathedral, and has visited every Disney park worldwide. 

Mrs. Lund would love to visit Germany and Scotland one day. She can ballroom dance and could eat tacos every day and never get tired of them.

Graduated from Loyola University of Chicago. My favorite part of the day is the bellringer at the beginning of class when I can touch base and visit with students. My dream vacation would be anywhere in the Mediterranean. I could eat Greek food every day and never tire of it. My hobby is entertaining and event planning.

Hello, my name is Cindy Burris. I am originally from Illinois having graduated from Eastern Illinois University.  My family and I moved here in 2012 and I began working for Lake County Schools as an ESE teacher. I have been a teacher for 28 years and all of that time was in an ESE classroom. This is my first year as an Intensive Reading teacher in Middle School.  I am married, have three adult children, and three beautiful granddaughters! They are the love of my life! I also have 2 fur babies that keep me busy as well. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family going to the wonderful theme parks and beaches that Central Florida has to offer! My dream vacation would be to the Maldives. I could eat pizza every day and never get tired of it.

My name is Mrs. Branneky (or Mrs. B)and I am the STEAM teacher here at LPA! This is my 8th year teaching, and my 1st year teaching STEAM. I live right here in Clermont with my husband Jeff and our two fur babies Gogi and Minnie. In my free time, I love spending time with my nieces and nephews, traveling, or hanging out at Disney. My favorite ride is Haunted Mansion, and my favorite Disney character is Belle!

This is my 23rd year teaching. I have lived in the greater Orlando area since 2005 with my husband and now my 3 grown children. In my free time, I love reading, drawing and riding roller coasters at any theme park. My passion though is to get kids excited about all things reading! My dream vacation spot is anywhere tropical. Soy la señora Moctezuma. Llevo más de 20 años enseñando diversas materias y grados tanto en Puerto Rico como en el condado de Lake. Me gustan las plantas y las flores, preparar diferentes platos y hablar de fe. Mi esposo y yo tenemos un chico empresario de 24 años y una universitaria y militar de 20 años.

Mrs. Moctezuma has been teaching different subjects and grade levels for more than 20 years in Puerto Rico and in Lake County. She loves to grow plants and flowers, loves to cook and loves to talk about faith. She and her husband have a son, (a 24 years old businessman) and a daughter (a 20 years old college student and US Army soldier).
